Allison Forner

Allison Forner has blossomed on the country music scene after her performance in the Carrara Country Music Festival talent search on the Gold Coast in 2002.

Born and bred in the silver city of Broken Hill in far western New South Wales, Allison has been singing on stage since she was 12 years old. She is a great fan of Olivia Newton John and loves the rich melodic voices of Anne Murray, Patsy Cline and Linda Ronstadt.

Allison now calls the Gold Coast home and works as a

marketing consultant for various local firms.

Allison's tribute to Olivia Newton John was a knockout at the Monto Country Music festival in 2003 & 2004 and had the audience foot-tapping, swaying and singing along to well-known tunes like Banks of the Ohio, Let me Be There and Have You Never Been Mellow.

In her hometown of Broken Hill Allison was well-known for her performances at the local repertory theatre where her classical voice training brought shows like Gilbert and Sullivan's Mikado to local audiences, The Wizard of Oz, Showboat and many other classic titles.

Since performing with Big Foot at Carrara and Monto, Allison is hooked and recorded two tracks for the Aust Country Artists CD.   The next performance of this polished entertainer will be at the Boomer Music Festival on October 16.
